Manager Role- Manufacturing Industry

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced accounting specialist with in-depth exposure to the aviation sector to join our US-based MRO support team. This role will be pivotal in overseeing the complete accounting cycle for our US aviation clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive accounting functions for aviation clients, including accounts receivable/payable, journal postings, and account reconciliations.
• Utilize aviation ERP/accounting platforms such as AvSight and Accounting Seed to handle operational accounting activities.
• Execute month-end closures, general ledger reviews, and prepare financial statements.
• Coordinate closely with US-based teams to meet financial reporting deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards and organizational compliance requirements.
• Assist with audits, variance analysis, and continuous process enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

• 7–12 years of overall accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in aviation or MRO finance operations.
• Proficiency in aviation ERP/accounting software like AvSight and Accounting Seed (preferred).
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage end-to-end accounting operations.
• Experience with international client accounts will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Additional certifications (CA Inter, CMA, CPA, etc.) would be an advantage
